31 Weeks

How far along? 31 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 7.2kg gain

Maternity clothes? Definitely maternity pants – I am loving the Jeans West maternity skinny leg jeans! I’m still just stretching tops over the bump…for now it’s getting harder though!
Stretch marks? Still none to report! Although I did see a little spider vein on the side of my belly the other night.
Sleep: I’ve actually had a few good nights sleep, must be the colder weather BUT I now find myself having to put more effort in when I go from one side to another - takes a lot of effort to lug this belly of mine from one side to the next comfortably.
Best moment this week: Pulling out all the tiny clothes I have started to gather and look at them all (for the hundredth time mind you)  imagining a little baby inside them. Plus I still love laying on the couch at night and watching my belly move.
Miss Anything? Hell yes! The ability to walk for any length of distant without being uncomfortable, not to mention the snail pace that I now have! A 2 minute walk around the block takes this fatty 10 minutes! Also just mobility in general, everything I do now seems to be done at a slower pace, bending over is such a pain and not to mention trying to put socks on!
Movement: HEAPS! This little thing in my belly never stops!
Food cravings: Anything sweet and I'm there! I really want a chocolate thickshake right now!!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really.
Have you started to show yet: Hell Yes!
Gender: It’s a Mystery
Labor Signs: No thankfully!!
Belly Button in or out? It’s still hanging in there, I thought it might pop out for a while there but now I think it is just going to stay in!
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy Happy Happy!
Looking forward to: The thought that I only have 9 more weeks to go! Easter is just around the corner and my baby shower is this weekend! Life is good!!!

30 Weeks!!!

How far along? 30 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 6.6kg gain
Maternity clothes? I have a few maternity pants but other than that I just stretch a top over the belly!
Stretch marks? Not that I can see! Fingers crossed I'm one of those lucky people!
Sleep: Horrid! and even worse when it's HOT!
Best moment this week: Reaching 30 weeks! Knowing there is only 10 more weeks until baby wells arrives and only 5 more weeks at work.
Miss Anything? I'm starting to get to the stage where I might be becoming uncomfortable. I can't bend down like I use to, I can't walk as far as I would like without feeling buggered and I can't get up and down from the couch and even in and out of bed in an elegant way anymore.
Movement: HEAPS! This little thing in my belly never stops!
Food cravings: Anything sweet and I'm there! This weeks favourite is banana and choc chip bread - enough said!!!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really.
Have you started to show yet: Yes!
Gender: It’s a Mystery
Labor Signs: No thankfully!!
Belly Button in or out? It's just holding on at the moment, it's pretty much flat on my belly so I'm waiting for it to pop out!
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy Happy Happy!
Looking forward to: A nice quiet weekend!! Have had some busy weeks lately so the thought of doing nothing is lovely!

Maternity clothes? I have a few maternity pants but other than that I just stretch a top over the belly!
Stretch marks? Not that I can see! I haven't been able to see below my belly button for a couple of weeks now though!
Sleep: Getting use to the uncomfortable sleeping and sleeping on the side, I can’t wait until I can finally sleep on my belly again!
Best moment this week: Still all the  movement I've been getting and one of my beautiful friends told me she is 8 weeks pregnant! So excited for her!
Miss Anything? Not that I can remember! It feels so long ago that I wasn't actually pregnant that I can’t remember what I use to do!
Movement: HEAPS
Food cravings: Chocolate!! Definitely chocolate, i polished off half a block for breakfast this morning after eating my real breakfast, I just couldn’t put the block down.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really

28 Weeks

I was so excited to reach 28 weeks!! I'm officially in my third trimester and only 12 weeks away from meeting Baby Wells! Time has been flying from about 20 week onwards and I bet these last 12 weeks will go as equally quick! I think I am going to miss my baby belly once it is all over, Ive started to grow quite attached to it and having those consent movements in there is such a wonderful feeling. I get so excited when it does a big kick or roll and by the time I call Keegan over to feel it, well the moment has well and truly past and Keegan is just left feeling an unmoving belly!

How far along? 28 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 5.6kg gain
Maternity clothes? I have a few maternity pants but other then that I just stretch a top over the belly!
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: Occasionally....no its been pretty good, I'm just starting to get to the uncomfortable stage where I wake up with a numb leg - I guess that's a hint its time for this whale to role onto the other side!
Best moment this week: All the movement! The kicks and the rolling around are getting so much stronger, love laying in bed feeling it wiggle around!
Miss Anything? Beer! I could of killed for a beer the other day when it was hot! Settled for cordial instead.
Movement: HEAPS
Food cravings: Chocolate!! Or anything sweet! Yummmo! I have a thing for m&ms at the moment, don't get in my way when I'm eating them!! Bring on Easter!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Random things set me off every now and again. Been very lucky and have only spewed 3 times during pregnancy!
Have you started to show yet: Yes!
Gender: It’s a Mystery
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? In - but stretching! Wish it would just pop out! At this rate my belly button is going to be 5cm in diameter!
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy little Vegemite i think!
Looking forward to: My baby shower in a couple of weeks time!!

Where has the time gone??

After starting this blog way back in October 2011 I promised myself that I would update it weekly so I could keep a record of my pregnancy......obviously that never happened. I had all the enthusiasm of taking weekly photos of my growing belly to display to the world......that also never happened! I have however taken random photos of my growing belly throughout my pregnancy but not quite on a regular basis. It's funny to look back on photos I had taken when I was only 12 or so weeks along thinking my belly was already huge... I don’t think I had any idea on how big it was going to get!

So let me fill you in on what you have missed.

This is my belly now....28 weeks

To me I think that it is starting to get pretty big, I go home at night with the tightest belly thinking how am I ever going to last another 12 weeks without it bursting open!!

25 Weeks.......

22 Weeks.....

21 Weeks.....

14 Weeks........ I actually thought I was rocking a big belly! And I was so proud to show it off ha ha.

12 weeks......I sent this photo to one of my good friends all excited because I had a little bump - it was more like I ate too much the night before!

We had our structural scan at about 19 weeks and I was so excited to go and see little Roger (this is our nickname for baby wells). He was diving about everywhere and it was just so amazing to see the little creature growing in my belly! At this stage I had just started feeling movement and kicks and once I saw how active the little bugger was I was surprised I couldn’t feel more! We came away with a disc of photos to show family and friends but to my disappointment they were all a little blurry! Other than getting to see Roger it was nice to know that everything was going along like it should be. We even got to count all the fingers and toes!
